Appendix M: Arrangement of the Hexagrams

Base Arrangement

This arrangement is generally used to show the binary nature of the hexagrams. Culling (1989) claims it is the most logical arrangement of the hexagrams. The first hexagram is on the first line on the left hand side. The sixtyfourth hexagram is on the eight line on the right hand side.
