A Synopsis of Interpretation

  1. One develops a hexagram in one's usual manner.
  2. Use the following table to find the applicable house and position with that house of the hexagram.

  3. Determine which line represents the » self « and which line represents the » other « from the following table of houses.

  4. Breakdown the hexagram into its component trigrams. Then using the chart below, determine the elements for the hexagram.
